GPRSGPRS Accountants (Chartered Accountants & Statutory Auditors) and GPRS Professionals Ltd (Chartered Certified Accountants & Statutory Auditors) operate in both the UK and Mauritius. In the past 25 years, we have helped over one thousand five hundred customers across diverse industries, ranging from small, medium and large enterprises across industry sectors, who have benefited from our excellence in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit and Business Advisory services.
Mr Nemchand Proag is the owner and Managing Director of GPRS. He holds a Diploma in Accountancy and a BSc (Hons.) degree in accounting from the University of Mauritius in 1991. He then moved to London and since, has been a resident of the UK for the past 28 years with a dual-citizenship in Mauritius and the UK. Mr. Proag completed a Diploma in Marketing and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK in 1996. In parallel, he secured a Masters in Business Administration specialising in Business Finance from the University of Hull in England and a fellowship at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). In 2012, Mr. Proag got his practitioner license from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) and then went on to get a fellowship from the Certified Public Accountants (FCPA) in 2013. He is also a licensed auditor by FRC.

Mr Nemchand Proag is a practicing accountant and a Statutory Auditor authorised to carry out audit work from both ACCA and ICAEW. He is the Principal of GPRS Accountants Ltd (Chartered Accountants and Statutory Auditors) and holds equity as a key shareholder/or managing director in various other companies diversified businesses .
Mr Nemchand Proag has a deep expertise in general accounting principles and practices, tax and complex tax planning. He specialises on Audits and takes on both hot and cold reviews of audit files of various audit firms. Mr Nemchand Proag has served as an Audit and Tax consultant for various accountancy firms in the UK. He has more than 25 years’ experience in accounting, finance, tax consultancy and auditing by working in small to medium firms. He has experience even as a forensic accountant and has personally trained several junior accountants, tax and audit seniors and managers in-house over the years. He has audited small to large companies in the UK including PLC’s and companies floated in the AIM market. He also carried out specialised audits such as property companies, charities and travel agents (IATA & ABTA registered), Estate agents, Solicitors accounts under SRA rules. He has done audits for companies whose turnover are £400 million and Gross assets of £450 million. He deals with complex tax planning for overseas investors.
Consultant
Sathees Sarma is the co-Managing Partner. He comes with fourteen years of rich experience in administration, book-keeping, accounts, tax, audits and Finance. Within this period, Sathees has evolved from being an accounts assistant for a small registered charity to becoming the Head of Finance for a multimillion Care Group based in the UK. He oversees the accounts and Finance across nine companies owned by this group, thanks to his excellent business acumen. His expertise is in Finance, Tax, Accounts, Admin, HR and payroll for Small Healthcare businesses, Specialist and Old age Care Homes, Montessori schools, Construction and Building projects. Over
the years, Sathees has developed a very resourceful network of service providers ranging from Banks, Insurance companies, Digital solutions and service providers. At GPRS, Sathees will leverage these connections and capabilities to help start-up businesses. Sathees holds a BA degree with First Class Honours in Accounts and Finance from the London South Bank University. He is also a certified ACCA practitioner and holds a Fellowship with the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT).
In his spare time, Sathees loves to play and watch Cricket. He is also a food-lover and enjoys spending his time in experimenting with cooking exotic Vegetarian cuisine.
